Slimming soup

Ingredients :
100g wintermelon
100g chicken breast meat
2g red dates, huang qi ,dang shen
5 bowls water

Seasoning :
a dash of salt

Method :
1.Peel off the skin of wintermelon rinse and then cut into small pieces .Slice the chicken meat .Rinse red dates ,huang qi and dang shen and drain well .Set aside for further usage .
2.Boil 5 bowls of water ,then add in chicken meat ,red dates ,huang qi and dang shen .Cook under low heat until 2/3 cooked ,add in wintermelon and cook until soft .season with salt before serving .

Functions :
Wintermelon is famed for promoting diuresis .If you wishes to reduce water retention and swelling ,you should consume more wintermelon .Red dates ,huang qi and dand shen nourishes the blood and qi .This soup functions to reduces water retention.
